Hey all, I have a fitbit sense which I’ve had for around a year, my wife a new sense 2. We both hate the rubber straps that come with the fitbits and I went out and bought a far better “sport” nylon type strap last year.
We went looking for similar straps for the sense 2 and found some on eBay which claimed they were compatible with the Sense, sense 2, versa 3 and I think 4.
However, none of them work on the Sense 2, it clips in one side but not the other, yet if I try the strap on my sense 1 it works fine.
However the guy is adamant this should work on the sense 2 and I do see quite a few places selling straps that claim to be compatible with all the above as well so he’s not alone.
So, should Sense straps work in the Sense 2? Or are so these online places wrong?

Hi @yuto21 according to the sales information from Fitbit on their bands - click to view - the Sense and Sense 2 are interchangeable. The problem with third party sellers is that they often aren't the ones who manufactured the item, so they can only go by what they are told. Sometimes it really is hit or miss in getting a band that actually fits properly.

Hi @yuto21.
It seems that quite a few people are having issues with 3rd party bands not fitting. I'm not sure what is different between them and the 3rd party ones as they pretty much look identical, but it seems to be enough to cause issues.

Same issue! My husband has the sense and all the bands for his just fine. I have the sense 2 and can only get one side of the other bands to work. Yet the one it came with clicks in with zero issues.

I had the same issue last week. I'll see what I can find out.

I replaced my rubber band with one I found online and it was ok. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the company. But I would like to mention that the rubber band that comes with Sense is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. I hated it, and when I replaced it with my online purchase I was fine.
