My Sense 2 is fully updated, I’ve tried normal & sensitive settings, I’ve tried left and right arm, I’ve read the forums and tried all the recommendations but I am only getting simplified sleep instead of Sleep Stages

My sleep tracking also stopped after the app update. None of the actions suggested above have fixed this problem.

Did all of that yesterday and today. Still no sleep score.

I cannot get the sleep REM stages and I’ve tried just about everything. I‘ve been a Fitbit advocate for years but I’m about ready to move to the alternative brand!

My problem is the same, and only got stages maybe 2 times since mid-March. I think it is a firmware issue that Fitbit/ Google is not admitting. I’ve tried everything but nothing has fixed the issue. It’s good to know yours stopped displaying stages about the same time mine did.

I 100% agree. I thought it was only iPhone users but its not; I did EVERYTHING Fitbit recommended - including what JuanFitbit posted. And still nothing.

I'm having the same issue on my Sense 2. Monday was the last day I received sleep stage data. For three days now, I only get basic sleep data. I charge it every day while I'm in the shower, and I wear it in the same spot on the same wrist with the same band. This problem has occurred suddenly and for no apparent reason. It's frustrating. I've only had this Fitbit for 3-4 months.

Here's the thing: The sleep scoring and REM data, etc. first went away a month or so ago on my Fitbit Blaze watch before I replaced it with a Sense 2 a week or so ago. This is a Fitbit software/application problem. I'm still in the return window for my Sense 2, BTW, and, unless Fitbit cuts out the b. s. and fixes the problem without all these guessing runarounds, I'll return the Sense 2 and get an Apple watch and then provide the proper reviews. Enough already!

Is the problem with apple's app? Maybe they want us all to be forced to go to apple watches? On my computer via google app I can still see the nice graph with the 3 sleep stages. But I can't see all the other details that I use to see on the google app on my computer.

Sometime last night between 8 and 9pm mine stopped syncing to my phone. No sleep info last night at all and still not syncing anything to my phone. Tried all the suggestions and still no luck. They need to walk back the last update until the figure out what happened.

Google is not dumb. They know about the problem (there's too many, for too long). Their reason is either technological or financial (and frankly technological is financial). I think we'll just have to wait (to see how/if Google fixes) or move on to a competitor. I'm with you Ladeaton.

FYI, I was a Fitbit customer for the last eight years so I didn’t make the decision without some consideration.

I think I know why Google doesn't give a detailed display. Google Hub also tracks your sleep but it is not very detailed, its very basic. I think Google is commonizing the software across platforms. What does that mean for us Fitbit users that got spoiled by Fitbits detailed display: unless Google invest in upgrading across all platforms, we are out of luck. (Note: I don't work for Google so my comments could be speculation.)

This has been happening to me most nights since the latest Fitbit update was introduced — in which the way it presents sleep information is very different. Probably five out of the last 14 nights I’ve gotten no sleep score or breakdown of sleep categories. Really disappointing, as I have relied on that comprehensive data for years.
I have not doing anything differently and I’ve tried all of the different troubleshooting tips that have worked in the past with previous Fitbits. The sleep data and features are among the FEW reasons I have stuck with Fitbit and not gone to a different type of smart watch. Very disappointing.
---
None of the above is the case with me, and I haven’t gotten any comprehensive sleep data in the past three nights. Last week two of my seven nights were the same. I haven’t been doing ANYTHING differently and these problems have occurred consistently only since the update happened in which the sleep data looked very different on the app. I have had Fitbits for several years now and I know how to wear them. Nothing is different. I have tried restarting, I have tried wiping off the back of the watch before I go to bed, it’s being worn at the same tightness it always has so this is a new problem.

Multiple problems including the one you are having make me want to throw it in the garbage. Used to be so easy to use.

I just get the hrs. and a score and NOTHING else. No breakup whatsoever. Yes I have tried all the suggestions given to other people. Have premium and have not once received a reply to my queries.

I’m sorry! Fitbit sure has gone WAY downhill since Google got involved. I guess I am glad I haven’t wasted my money on premium then.
