Getting simplified sleep instead of Sleep Stages

My Sense 2 is fully updated, I’ve tried normal & sensitive settings, I’ve tried left and right arm, I’ve read the forums and tried all the recommendations but I am only getting simplified sleep instead of Sleep Stages

Having the same issue. Just basic sleep data time asleep time awake. no sleep score, no rem, deep, or light sleep information, no sleeping heart rate. But if you look at my heart rate data history in the heart rate section you will see a fully populated 24 hour heart rate graph so it is clearly recording heart rate information. Also noticed in health metrics it stopped reporting heart rate variability, and Skin temp variation. I have had premium for years but I just cancelled and my current paid month will run out on May 7. I have done everything suggested and am still in the same boat as everyone else. It is clearly a problem of googles creation. The fact that they have gone radio silent and are choosing to just stich their head in the sand pretty much verifies that they know they screwed up or possibly even working as intended as far as Google is concerned. Customer service has never been one of Googles strong suits.

I went through a whole support chat and even did a factory reset on my sense to and woke up this morning hoping for detailed sleep stats and a sleep score. Guess again… Really annoying.

Hi everybody! Thank you for your comments and information,

We are releasing a new app update that should be available for everybody soon. 
Keep an eye open for it and update the app as soon as possible. 

If the issue persists after the update, please let us know the mobile device model, and it's operating system version. (eg, iPhone 6 iOS 14.0.1, Pixel 7 Android 12, etc)

After following these forms for a few weeks now and trying everyone’s suggestions, I finally contacted Fitbit support. They suggested a factory reset AND changing the sleep settings to sensitive and now I’ve had two consecutive nights of sleep score and sleep data. I don’t know if it will work, but give it a try!

GOOD LUCK! I have contacted tech support including the advanced team, done a hard reset, soft reset, deleted the app and reinstalled, removed apps Tech support recommended, disconnected/re-connected, and so on; nothing works.

For me, the things that were important:

-Sleep - that doesn't work the same way

-Time - I get that on my phone

-Text - They changed how text notifications are delivered and the new process doesn't work for (in the way I need it)

+Calorie burn - Calorie burn is a more important metric than steps. The watch does a great job with calorie burn.

In short, it's not worth wearing the watch solely for calorie burn (there are other products). So I don't even wear the watch anymore.

I’m just about ready to put my Fitbit Sense 2 in a drawer too. I guess Google isn’t interested in fixing the problem

I already put it in the draw. I'm probably going to get the competitor's.  I do think Google cares. The problem is they want to commonize all platforms.  Google has invested $10s of millions into that ugly UI, and whoever was responsible for the market-research/journey-mapping BEFORE they built the UI- he/she should be fired.
