It seems like Google Wallet is rolling out to Sense 2 and Versa 4 today! Has anyone got it?

@LizzyFitbit it's pretty obvious from all the comments here that the Google Wallet on Fitbit does not work and needs a fix from Fitbit and Google. When will the fix or update make its way to our devices? Thanks

After looking closer the cards I am getting an error on - they are supported in FitBit pay but not the Google wallet on Fitbit. One of them, American Express is not at all supported by Google wallet on Fitbit (WHY???). For the other, I have a First National Bank of Omaha VISA and only First National Bank of Omaha MASTERCARD is on the list. So I'm hoping either they get these added OR give us an option to go back to Fitbit Pay.....so frustrating!

Hi LizzyFitbit,
I just aquired the Sense 2 and I was keen to start using fitbit pay. However, I find this to be a hassle!
Like you state here, I see that fitbit pay is replaced by google wallet. I tried to add my visa and mastercard to it. It does not seem to work. I am using card from two different financial services providers in Denmark, Nordea and Coop Bank.
Is it possible to switch back to fitbit pay only?
Could this be related to the fact that I use an iPhone and not Android phone?

Yes, I contacted Fitbit support and they emailed me back telling me to factory reset my watch. I have the same issue wherein my card is supported but it was not getting added. Try resetting your Fitbit and adding the supported card again for Google wallet on Fitbit. Hope this helps.

I factory reset my sense 2 yesterday too and it reverted back to Fitbit pay on my watch

Are you sure? Many have written that it does not help.

@SunsetRunner it didn't help in my case. I did a factory reset only for that reason to check whether Fitbit Pay would be back. It wasn't.

I know you said once you go over to google pay there’s no going back, but I actually never accepted switching to google pay. I had started the process to add Fitbit pay to my versa 4 and in the process I was asked to switch to google pay, I pressed “decline” or “abort” or something like that, and it still changed to google pay. Is there any way to reset this, my bank isn’t supported by google pay but works on Fitbit pay so this is very annoying.

I tried again today with a credit card that is supported at Google Wallet (Android). It made a bit of progresses, but it still didn't work.
After "Contacting your bank...", it showed me an "Issuer terms". I clicked the "Accept" button.
Then it showed "Processing card details...".
Finally, it said "Your card couldn't be added".

I have Simplii debit and CIBC credit cards in my google wallet and I tap to pay using Google Pixel 6 all the time.. Neither can be added to the watch.
I had similar experience to Asiayeah. If anyone has had success adding a debit or credit card to Google Pay on Fitbit (I am using Sense 2 but any will do) please post here what cards are actually working!
