I have been through the live chat helpline already.
I have enabled the google map app on my Fitbit sense 2 and in addition enabled to auto-start. The chat helpline told me that the maps option is not live on the sense and the route could only be seen after reviewing and syncing the sense 2. This is not happen when I try too review the workout route.
In addition the chat helpline indicated that on starting an activity I should be able to select a “GPS” option which should then activate the google map selection. If so what is the auto-start option for? This “GPS” option does not appear.
It may be there but when I try to find it, as suggested on up-swiping, the sense 2 simply cycles through instantly to activity data display.
Any help appreciated.

You need to clarify. Are you talking about using navigation with Google Maps app on Charge 6? If so, the in-watch GPS has nothing to do with it. The Google Maps on the Charge 6 is only a client for the mobile Google Maps app and it's your phone that needs to run Google Maps and have GPS connection. Charge 6 only shows navigation directions coming from the phone.
