Google pay / Fitbit wallet

I just want to be able to use my watch to pay for a **ahem**ing cup of coffee. I've tried for an hour to get Google pay on this watch. I'm just about to to smash this thing. This is insane.

The Sense 2 has access to Google Wallet instead of Google Pay. Do you have Google Wallet set up? Are you having difficulty adding a card (which is a common issue)?

Yes, I can't even get my watch to update to try and put Google pay on
there.

Just so there is no confusion, Google Pay and Google Wallet are two different things (I know, Google made it nice and confusing). To my knowledge, The Sense 2 only works with Google Wallet.

You'll need to have Google Wallet setup on your phone first, then setup through the Fitbit App. Once Google Wallet is setup on your phone, in the Fitbit App tap on the upper left corner of the app, where it shows battery percentage. Then, tap on your device. It will take you to a screen that looks like the attached image. Is there a square that says "Google Wallet"?

You might also want to check whether your bank is supported in Google wallet (here). Just because it's supported on Google pay, doesn't mean it will be supported on Google wallet.

I have both Google pay and Google wallet and have used them for years with cards in both accounts. I just can't get it onto my watch

Confirming two things.

1. You do not see Google Wallet in your watch's app list.
2. You have gone through the Google Wallet setup in the Fitbit app itself.

I know one of my three cards will not work on my watch, but still works in the phone Google wallet. That has been an issue for some people. I am also aware that AMEX has trouble or doesn't work on the watch either.

If you haven't already, you may need to reach out to support in case there is an issue with your watch.
