In the middle of the night while sleeping, my Sense 2 stops tracking my heart rate, and sleep, and does not resume until I wake in the morning (e.g. 2:30/3:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.) I have been diagnosed with AFib, and it was my Sense 2 that picked up on it in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. I would never have known otherwise as I had no other symptoms.
FitBit, please do NOT tell me to “tighten the band, re-set the device, Bluetooth on/off” etc, as I have done all the previously mentioned steps that are suggested, and posted. This device in many ways helped saved my life. Reliable and consistent heart rate tracking is of utmost importance. Just fix it. Please, just FIX IT.

Dear Fitbit: What part of the significance of this issue do you not understand? There are still hours-long gaps in recording my heart rate while I sleep. Did you not read that I once credited this device with likely contributing to saving my life because it detected signs of AFib while I was sleeping? And are you still not reading what I’m saying here, that this same device is now missing BIG gaps of recording time while I sleep? Do I have to threaten legal action if I miss an episode of AFib while I sleep because you can’t or won’t fix something that previously always worked? Answer please. This is unacceptable.

Just wanted to give an update. Uninstalling the App and Factory reset did not resolve the heart rate and sleep issue. I’ve been doing some research and the Garmin appears to be excellent alternative. Good luck hope there’s a fix soon!

I’m assuming you never got a response? I’m having the exact same issue .. AFib and all!!! I’m getting very frustrated with no answers. I’ve tried everything!! Past few days after a workout my HR zone keeps going 😯… I had 300 zones yesterday after walking!! Then no log all night of my sleep.

I have been having similar issues, gaps of time during the night where it is just blank, as if I took off the watch. In addition to this I’ve found it’s not measuring the HR accurately… not sure what’s going on. I’ve used Fitbit since 2016, never had this kind of issue before.

Many people are experiencing the same problems. I have given up trying various fixes. I have an old Versa 3 that I’m using again. Seems to be working for now. I will try Sense 2 again in a few weeks. Hopefully Fitbit has a fix by then. If not, I’m switching to Garmin.

I’ve got a versa 4 I’ll use but worried I’ll lose my streak by doing that. I known it big deal but I’m kind of ocd about it. I just got in from working out and my HR showed 155++ while walking…. Then while actually sweating and working out it was low!! I’m so done with this!!!

I agree. Something is bad wrong. I’ve also owned these since the little tiny one. This is ridiculous!

Even though I switched from Sense 2 back to Versa 3, I can still see all old stats on Fitbit app.

My Fitbit Sense 2 quit tracking my sleep! I removed the Fitbit App and re-installed and it is still not tracking my sleep!

I did the same and it did not help.
