Anyone know how to do the ECG? Is it a different app?

Hello @dewittvsryan and welcome to the Community.  Here is a link to Fitbit's Help article:  What is the Fitbit ECG app?  It has more detailed instructions.  You don't mention which model you use.  More specific advice is available -- you can search YouTube for user videos of your model.

you may have to install the app from the gallery. Then it will walk you through the process.

It says it’s installed but I don’t know how to use it

Just open the app on your phone, it will intstruct you how to use it.
