Inaccurate skin temperature and Sleep Data on new Fitbit

According to both my Fitbit device and phone app, my skin temperature was reported as -0.3°F this morning while wearing the watch. However, my skin is most definitely warmer than that. Additionally, my sleep score from last night was listed as 89 with minimal disruption. In reality, I woke up around 1am and was unable to fall back asleep until approximately 3am. During that time, I got out of bed and walked to my kitchen for a few steps, all while wearing the Fitbit. Given that this is a new purchase, I’m disappointed by these discrepancies and would appreciate clarification on why this might be happening and whether there is a way to improve the accuracy (settings, calibration, firmware updates, or replacement if needed).

Thanks for your feedback.

Skin temp .3 degrees lower than your recent average.

So when it says -0.3F, it just means it was 0.3F lower than the previous average - am I understanding correctly?

Also, any insight on my question regarding the sleep data inaccuracy?

Thank you for your time. Appreciate it.

For skin temp, correct.  In fact, on phone app if tap on 'health metrics', note it is labeled 'skin temp variation', not just 'skin temp'.
As for sleep accuracy, I'm no help there.
