All other threads are locked about this issue and I find it hard to digest that this damage is considered normal and not covered under warranty. A 300 euro watch and after 6 months it looks like it has been through a washing machine full of grit. Reported to Fitibit and was told this is not covered under warranty. I am not talking about the scratches but about the edge peeling off. After 2 fitbit watches I have now switched to a Google Pixel Watch Two. Fitbit losing customers over their inferior product and inferior customer support.

Fair play to Fitbit, they responded to my appeal and granted a replacement watch. So just log your complaints about this issue and do not let them dismiss you with a no can do.

Sending me a refurbished watch to replace a 6 month old watch. Not happy with this.

i’ve been trying to do this with fitbit after they sold me a faulty watch advertised as “waterproof” broke after one swim! been back and forth and now they’ve stopped replying and they have been deleting my comments on other posts discussing it. interesting what google are trying to hide here!

I feel your pain. To be honest though that watch looks pretty beat up, even on the straps it has scratches. I don't work for them or advocate for the company in any shape or fashion but I see why they would only want to send a refurbished unit because the unit did not just start peeling on the glass and in the straps. I'm not trying to start anything or call anybody out but that Fitbit has been bumped scratched and or hit plenty of times to look like that.
I'm glad they are sending you a replacement though.
