I'm in the same place. Piece came off, but I don't have it. Can a replacement be purchased to b glued on?

Updating my previous post. Glued the bottom piece back on using E6000. A week later the top piece came off. Glued it as well with E6000. I used a tiny paintbrush the 1st time and a toothpick the second time to apply the glue to the metal piece and the watch itself. Cleaned old glue off 1st with alchohol swab. So far is holding for a few weeks. I agree with many posts. Quality is disappointing. So many users having the same problem right after warranty end? My last Fitibit had the same problem. Right after warranty end the heart rate sensor stopped working. I love Fitbit bit won't buy again without extended warranty or may buy amother brand. Not encouraged to buy a Google watch after what has happened yo Fitbit.

This happened to me as well. I do not shower with it and I've never been swimming with it. It's now 2 years old and the same thing happened to the previous one. Fitbit needs to figure out a way to have a more durable glue to hold these metal plates on.

I feel frustrated and disappointed with Fitbit right now. I purchased the Sense 2 for my now 14 year old son 1 year 4 months ago, after he was diagnosed with a heart condition. We wanted to be able to track his heart rate and activity. The bottom metal sensor came off of his, without him realizing it. Has anyone had any luck getting Fitbit to take care of this issue outside of the warranty time frame? At a cost of $250 I expected this to last a lot longer than it has.

Hi there … this has happened to me as well. Does anyone know how I go about getting this fixed. My husband tried gluing them but it doesn’t work. It’s no longer under warranty as I bought it 2 years ago. Support said to contact Geek Squad but they said they couldn’t or wouldn’t as I hadn’t purchased their Protection Plan.

My metal piece on the underside (place unknown) fell off. My fitbit was purchased 9/22/23. So, not even two years old. Is this common? Out of warranty, I take good care of things. Is there any recourse?

It's just happened to me.
Watch is less than a year old.
Went through the steps to contact Fitbit help centre, but the number does not accept calls.
Now what?

To all - you need to click on the thumbnail of your ID in the app- it will take you to a screen for help . This has been an ongoing issue for a lot of people . I migrated my Fitbit to Google last year and there is a help screen here .

I had the same issue, one fell off today and one seems to be detaching! It’s a little over a year old. It’s been glitchy since day one though.

Lizzy thank you. My older Fitbit sense 2’s metal sensor fell off and it was out of warranty. I bought a new one last October. Today morning one sensor from the new one also fell off.
I contacted support and it is getting replaced, the process is initiated.
however, my question is, this is a recurring problem. What can we do about it. If the metal sensor falls of this replaced one, what am I supposed to do then?
how is replacement or buy a new one the only options?
I was wearing the watch all the time and the sensor fell off. I’m not even knowing that it’s falling off. Obviously sweat and grime is the reason for it.
how can one prevent it from happening?
I love this watch because is the stress management features. More than the first Fitbit sense. That malfunctioned in the pool.
Please tell me there is an answer out there

I agree it is a flaw. For me, the watch got picked up today itself! Are they phasing out sense 2 so that the focus is on pixel 3? What’s going on?
I’m so loyal to Fitbit. Really stumped.

My husband was gifted a one plus watch. It’s been 6 yrs and it works perfectly, he wears it everyday! Yes he does not cream him arms and hands like I do! That’s the only difference. There is no guidelines whatsoever after this design flaw was reported!

Yea, happened the same to me to, and have lost one of the metal pieces and can't find anywhere where I could find that spare part. This was my first and last fitbit watch ever, very poorly made device.
