New GPS Maps

Does anyone hate the new GPS maps? I can't believe how much they suck. They are fuzzy, and don't show all the stats. Is there any way to get the old maps back? Why does Google keep making changes that make Fitbit worse? They are supposed to make it better! Are they trying to lose business and sabotage Fitbit? I am so frustrated!

Hi @mehdi7 - there are issues with the new app as seen in "The redesigned Fitbit app is rolling out!" topic in the appropriate iOS or Android app forums along with the other unhappy users where you will see more fully the issues.

Unfortunately it would seem likely you are stuck with this version officially. Though there may be some tweaks over time already mentioned there. This could take months to get this test version to anywhere near how the previous version was.

Hi @Guy_  I noticed you used the term Test Version in your reply there, Is the new App not the final replacement version?

Hi @MissMyData - the previous app version was working fine and the new one isn't up to that standard, hence it seems like an early release test version issued without user consent.

Why this has been done is a mystery, and why the old version hasn't been made available as an alternative solution that so many users are requesting while it gets fixed, even more so.

@MissMyData   The redesigned Fitbit app you see isn't a test or a beta version.  Fitbit announced this design in a preview in August.  A September announcement said it would start rolling out.  Fitbit listened to user feedback and announced that there will be refinements.  Your Feedback Matters: Updates coming soon the the Fitbit app  We might even get the dark mode we have been asking for!

Users who are more immersed in the Google ecosystem will recognize design features consistent with other Google or Made by Google products.

Hi @LZeeW . That’s good to know. Thanks for your reply. I like the fact refinements are coming. Meanwhile, aesthetics aside,  I would just be happy if my App worked! It would be great to see my missing data return one day soon so I can continue to enjoy the features of my Sense 2.
