Not crediting hourly steps when they were met

I'm a bit OCD about getting my hourly goal credits which my friend calls my "points that don't matter," so I have an alarm to remind me to get them. Sometimes, I still miss them, and that's fine. Lately, I have checked to confirm that I'm over 250, and then later, that hour is not marked off. I'm thinking it's been no longer than the past month that this has happened.

I searched here and don't see anyone else talking about this. I just did a restart, and I hope to try to really monitor it, but I'm busy on work days, and don't always have the mental bandwidth to obsess over step counts more than to make my hourly walk around the building to get the 250.

Anyone else? Any ideas?

Sometimes I get it to update on phone app by going back to yesterday, then back to today.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
