I am a lifelong overweight and sedentary person. I bought my Sense 2 as Christmas present for myself because I wanted a more watch-like device and the heart rate monitoring. (I occasionally have issues with wildly racing heartbeat.) I started dieting in February and gradually worked myself up to walking 10,000 steps a day. I have lost 53 lbs.
My Fitbit has been a crucial tool for my efforts to improve my health and change my life, and now this new app is destroying it. I can't trust it to properly measure my walks, accurately count my hourly steps, or even consistently sync up with my phone. I have been continually frustrated and angered by the app since the update. I keep coming here and scouring these forums to see if there has been any good news, and nope! Everyone else is complaining too.
I am not an Apple person, so I am about to consult with friends and family and find a better brand that can be trusted. Sadly, I just recently convinced a friend to get a Sense 2, and now I feel awful about it.
Why do tech companies always seem to have a need to completely overhaul things that already work and might only need a few small tweaks?
