My microphone is working on my watch and quick reply works but I can't answer with my voice and I have tried everything to fix it.

I just got my sense 2 today, and it is the only thing not working for me as well. I thought my previous Versa wasn't working, so I gave it to my daughter because of this very problem. If this is not an issue that's going to be fixed soon, I will return it. Or is this with all fitbits?
---
I have been talking to Fitbit via messenger and they've been telling me the copy and paste troubleshoot techniques that you would get on the website. I cleared the cache just in case. They're also wanting me to do a factory reset which I'm not wanting to do since I set my watch just up yesterday, and it would seem like a big waste of time since a lot of other people seem to have that problem. Can you tell me if this has worked for anybody?
Best AnswerI've also chatted with someone from fit bit about this problem and nothing resolved it. It was working absolutely fine until one day it wasn't. They told me they have taken this problem to the higher up people to figure it out but it's been a month for me not having it and I'm beyond frustrated as this perfectly fine/expensive watch is not useful to me now. Alot of frustrated costumers they have and will be loosing due to this problem
I'm so sorry. It is rather frustrating. I like the voice to text because I don't use my phone in the car, so at least if it's something important I can do something really quick on my watch if I'm stopped at a red light. I agree with you about the different brand. If it takes too much longer I will look at a different brand as well. I'm under warranty since I just got it a couple of days ago, so I'll return it if there's no resolution. I hope it works soon for both of our sakes!

Best AnswerI'm an Italian user and I'm having the same problem with my Fitbit Sense 2. Even following all the instructions you listed, it doesn't solve anything. I think my Google account is conflicting and therefore it doesn't allow voice transcription of messages. Also because I can't log in with the original app with my Google account, I had to install the third-party application. With this one I can turn it on but it has the same transcription problem.
I have a Samsung A41 and a Fitbit Sense 2. A few months ago everything worked, now it doesn't. I hope the problem is resolved soon.
On 2/15 the moderator was passing the issue on for resolution. But no one has gotten it resolved. Very frustrating
I just bought a brand new sense 2 yesterday specifically for the features of being able to reply to text messages and answer calls using a microphone and now I find out it doesn't even work! What a waste of over $250. How can I apply for warranty coverage to get a refund?

It's now March 27th mine still isn't working for voice replies. Is yours?
---
It's been 2 mos. Since this thread started about Sense 2 voice replies not working & over 2 Mos. Since mine stopped working. Is Google going to fix this or what?
Mine is still not working either. I contacted support again and I was told that a new app version is suppose to roll out April 3rd. Hopefully that will resolve the problem..
It is over 2 months! Why.have this not berm resolved!! Many people have the issue world wide
Best AnswerSo I've had my sense about a month now. I've been messaging Fitbit to do a return. They've evaded the question every time I've asked and told me to be patient instead while they're working on getting this fixed. Today I'm actually standing up for myself, and they're trying to say that a return is only valid for 15 calendar days. I will get this resolved, because I have record of the very first message, but I will not be getting Fitbit anymore. For the rest of you I really hope this works out!
Best AnswerLast year the same issue came up again, but within a month an administrator managed to fix it.
Now the same problem has returned, and for about three months around twenty moderators and administrators have been giving the exact same response: “We are aware of the issue, we are working on a solution.” But it’s been three months of the same answer. This is just not acceptable.
They are seriously damaging the reputation of. As far as I’m concerned: never again.
I usually do not like resurrecting posts, but I do not believe it has been resolved after months. I used to use the feature often for quick responses. I know the microphone on the Sense 2 works fine as I can use Alexa through the watch. If it is any help to the team working on this, here are the device details.
Watch: Fitbit Sense 2 with Firmware 220.31
Phone: Google Pixel 8a with Android 16 with the May 5th update
App: Fitbit 4.69
Location: United States
Thank you for looking at this and I hope a resolution is found soon.
