Sense 2; Driving Counts as Exercise

I recently purchased the Sense 2 and have been having an issue with it's tracking data. I believe this is due to my riding a motorcycle as part of my daily commute.

From what I can find on the forums this seems to be a known issue with previous devices. I was wondering if there is any resolution for the Sense 2 besides manually going to the Fitbit website and creating an activity every time I drive as that seems like a lot of extra work.

Maybe even a way to just pause tracking?

I'd rather not return the device, but I don't see how I would continue using it when half of the stats are wildly unreliable.

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @DustD!

To avoid your Fitbit Sense 2 mistakenly tracking an exercise while you're riding your motorcycle, I'd suggest removing the corresponding exercise from the list of exercises which are recognized by SmartTrack. To see how to do so, please have a look at 'Which activities does my Fitbit device track automatically?' following the link below:

How do I track my activity with my Fitbit device?

I'll try disabling those when I'm driving and see if that helps. Do you know of a way to disable them with the device or can it be done only through the app?

You'll have to disable the corresponding ones in the Fitbit app, @DustD. When you'll sync your Sense 2 afterwards, those settings are transmitted to your device and will remain until changed.
