Sense 2 GPS only on runs not walks

It's so odd, I've only had it a year and my walks will track the time but not GPS or pace. Runs work fine. I've tried updates. I don't know why. It started maybe 6 months after I got it, if it ever worked at all I can't remember because I used to only pay attention to my runs. Can't find any help online. Anyone have ideas? I have Android but I used to have iPhone. Same issue on both.

Do you have GPS enabled for walks @bejjet 

Are you manually starting the walk recording, or letting fitbit decide? Each version has its own GPS setting
