Sense 2 Heart Rate Inaccuracy

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’ve had four Fitbits throughout the last 10 years, a Charge 2, Ionic, Versa 3, and now Sense 2 with progressively more issues coming with each watch. Charge 2 was a perfect pedometer, Ionic had to be returned due to a fire hazard with the battery, Versa 3 band connector broke after less than a year, and now my new Sense 2 I’ve had for less than a week consistently stops tracking my heart rate or registers a completely inaccurate heart rate. Resets and adjustments failed to help. Based on other discussions, this is a recurring issue, and I will likely be returning the watch. If there is any way to fix this issue I’d be open to a solution, however, I’d highly discourage any new buyers or current Fitbit members to purchase the Sense 2.

Welcome to the forums @wellitslucas.

Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding your Sense 2. Sorry to know about the experiences before with other devices and the current one.

I'd ask you to take a look at this help article: What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?

In order to get a more accurate reading: How do I track heart rate with my Fitbit device?

Please, take the time to see the points in each article and try to see how it works after that.

My Sense 2 is doing the same. I have done all the suggestions including restarting while working out and not. Still inaccurate, especially while working out. Checked heart rate with my pulse ox device and fit bit was inaccurate by 30+ bpm while working out. I have used many different fit bit in past without issue but recently quality not as good, very disappointed
