Sense 2 - Not getting notifications

As if the last couple days I initially stopped getting the vibrations for notifications but could see them, but now I'm not getting notifications at all, I checked my settings to make sure nothing had changed and made sure things were up to date and synced but nothing. I'm android galaxy s24 which was new like 2 months ago.

I'm not happy I and many on this community appear to be losing functions from their sense 2 (mine new early Dec 25) and not getting much if anything back besides we're looking into it. Yes I think there was a recent android update but I can't recall. The community need answers and fixes. Tempted to see if I could get my money back but been a few months of not but a fitbit device again 🫤😠

Hi @SHarvey84, thanks for stopping by, I hope you're doing well.

Let me help you with the notifications issue you are currently experiencing. I appreciate all the troubleshooting you have already tried.

The scenario you describe, sounds like the "do not disturb" mode was activated. In this mode you'll receive the notifications but the device won't vibrate. See How do I turn my Fitbit device’s notification setting on or off

However, since you are now not receiving any at all, i believe it's better to set them again.  For reference, take a look at our help article How do I set up notifications > Android phones

Many thanks for this follow up, however, I did check this before writing on the community wall. I have however, checked again and all is the same and good.

Hi mate. I had a similar issue and after reading few suggestions I've got a solution which worked for me

Fix for Fitbit Sense 2 app notifications not showing (iPhone)

Issue:

  • Calls/SMS work on the watch
  • App notifications (WhatsApp, etc.) don’t show
  • “App notifications” list stays empty or doesn’t populate

What worked for me:

  1. On iPhone: Settings → General → Language & Region → iPhone Language
  2. Change language to English (US)
  3. Open the Fitbit app → Notifications → App Notifications
  4. Trigger a WhatsApp (or any app) notification

👉 The apps should now appear in the list and notifications start working.

After that:
You can try switching language back later—apps usually stay registered.

Why it works (likely):
Changing the iPhone language forces iOS to reset/reinitialize the notification system, allowing Fitbit to detect app notifications properly.

Hope this helps others—this bug is real and super frustrating.
