Sense 2 - Provide alternative web interface

After the acquisition of Fitbit by Google, Google decided to discontinue the popular web interface for viewing and analyzing Fitbit data. Google promised to provide an alternative interface, but so far no alternative to the mobile app has appeared and no planned date is communicated.

What is the status of this, and when will Fitbit users again be able to view and analyze their personal data via a web portal?

Hi @StijnDB, thanks for stopping by, I hope you're doing well.

Thank you for you comment. I understand that many users prefer the web dashboard. The use of mobile apps on mobile devices is the latest most popular user's choice.

We're constantly striving to improve Google and Fitbit products and services, in fact, we already have this feature as a suggestion in our product feedback board. So i recommend that you vote for this so it can gain popularity.

Thank you for your feedback and for participating in the community!

Thanks for the reply David. I did what you suggested, but in all honesty I find it a bit disappointing to now have to vote and hope for something to reappear that already existed and that Google just took away. Google made the promise of bringing back the web portal, but as I understand it now they’re not planning on keeping that promise, not unless a large group of users will vote for it (and maybe not even then ?).
