Sense 2 body responses tile won't do anything

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello, my "body responses" tile is stuck in a screen that says "To get started, open the Fitbit mobile app".

I have given the apps all permissions, restarted both the watch and app, and logged moods. Why isn't anything showing up on this tile?

Did u find a solution for this? Im in the same situation

No luck, I think it’s just a broken feature. I talked to 3 separate FitBit support people and nobody could get it to work. Crazy that they ship something like this in a product.

So my sense 2, is not remembering the stress managment settings. The fitbit portion just says to open and allow through the app. But no matter how many times I put in all the setting to yes, it does not sync with my fitbit and I have to do it everytime I want to log a mood. This mean it also doesn't record my body responses and I can't figure out how to get it to work. Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm having to same issue. Is it a malfunction in only our watches? Did they give you a new one?

They did not offer to send a new watch. They said they would "escalade" my support ticket and send me an email and never did. I'm just hiding the feature from my watch because it's so useless.

Same thing with me. After talking to 3/4 support folks, they said they will send a new unit. But I got mine few days back so I returned it.

Bump. Same issue for me

Did you ever figure it out im having the same exact problem and fitbit support isnt helping

Best Answer

Never did. I’ll post if I ever figure it out, but I doubt they’ll ever contact me with a solution like they said they would in support chat.

Im having the same problem with support aswell, couldn't do a 24 hour text support because apparently they were busy so I contacted them on twitter to no help then finally got into text support which the text convo went on for 2 hours with no resolve they said they would email me later im pretty sure i was talking to ai for 2 hours

With enough re-syncing and turning off and on body responses in the stress management setting i get this picture above but once i swipe to the next tile and swipe back it goes back to the same thing

I decided to return the watch. I can’t support a company that thinks it’s acceptable to sell a $250 watch with features this broken.

Does anyone actually have this working?

I've gone through the setup like 50 times now, cleared the app cache, reset the watch and the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the Fitbit app, uninstalled and reinstalled the tile and watch apps, factory reset and re-paired the watch... and it STILL just displays the "To get started, open the Fitbit Mobile app on your phone" message every time I check that tile. Occasionally when I try to check that score on the phone, it'll show me the score, but it will make me go through the setup AGAIN as well.

I don't particularly care about the measurements and I'm probably gonna hide the tile if I can't get it up and running, but it's pretty annoying to have a heavily advertised feature like this not working at all on a $300 watch.

To add any tiles, follow the instructions. Depending on if you merged your Google and Fitbit account, if not, then click your profile pic on the left top corner of your screen. Then click your device, the Sense 2 in this case. After that click Gallery and search or find the tiles you are looking for. If you have do the same instead click the settings icon on the top left.

I have the same problem. Have had the watch for a couple of days now. I wish I knew of all the problems before I bought it.

Hi everyone, and welcome to our new members.

Thanks for the steps you've tried, and the pictures provided. I'm sorry you've had these difficulties with your watch. So I can look into this, may I know since when this started to happen? Have you tried removing and adding this tile again? Could you go to the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Sense 2 and verify if the firmware version 194.61 was fully installed?

In the meantime, let me recommend these other steps to reconnect your watch to the Fitbit app:

  1.  Forget your watch from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Check if the Fitbit app is updated and reboot your phone.
  3. Restart your watch by pressing and holding the button for 10 seconds until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  5. Choose your Sense 2, tap Replace Device and follow the on-screen instructions.

Once that is done, go to the Fitbit app, tap the Stress Management tile > Gear icon at the upper right corner and make sure Body Responses are turned on.

Interestingly I can verify that I'm not on firmware version 194.61 but it doesn't look like it's available.

I'm on 184.52. I bought the watch end of last week and an update was installed that first day. In the app there is no update available. I'm in South Africa on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, fully updated, running Android version 13.

My Fitbit app is updated to the latest version on the phone. There are no updates available.

Hi there, @RuanFourie.

Thanks for joining this thread and providing the requested information. Let me explain that when a Fitbit device is set up for the first time, an initial update will be available but we'll need to wait in order to receive the new one which is still rolling out to all our members.

Regarding the body responses tile, and aside from updating the Fitbit app, may I know if you've also tried the rest of the steps suggested in my previous post?  Please confirm this information as this will help me to further investigate what may be occurring on my end.

I just got mine today. On the main screen under my stats I clicked on the stress management tile. It’s had to be set up there too. Once I went through those options and synced it updated on my watch.

I'm a little bit scared to do the rest of the steps. The main reason I have this watch is to make payments and I'm worried that if I do the rest then I'll have payment problems like some of the other people. Do you think I should try it? It won't affect the cards that I loaded on it?

I'm glad to say that the update came through this morning. So I updated the watch and it looks like everything's working now. Will keep an eye on it. Must still try the payment after the update.
