Sense 2 cannot manually start a walk

I have owned several Fitbit (for iOS), so I know how it is supposed to work. But on my Sense 2, when I try to start a walk, I go to Exercise and tap on Walk (whether I do it through All or not), the screen says Exercise and then goes blank and then back to the Home Screen.

Hi @Bkford - did you try a watch restart and possibly go to the walk settings and turn off GPS first before trying to start?

The restart did not help. Not sure how to go to walk settings to turn off
GPS.

@Bkford - thanks, did you try to swipe up the chosen exercise before starting to get to it's settings?

@Bkford - it's possible the watch has a fault, especially if it got wet, and has other issues or gets hot when charging, or there is just a software corruption.

If it is really annoying a factory reset may cure it, but you will have to set it up again after.

It is a good idea to make a note of the names of any clocks and any special watch or settings you use before the reset, and note if you live in the EEA you may not be able to reinstall everything without using a VPN connection on your phone.

Thank you for your suggestions. Since that seems to be the only thing that is not working, I will probably not try to do anything drastic. The auto detect on walking does work, so I will just use that.

@Bkford- that is a prudent and sensible approach because you can often make it worse by trying to fix a minor issue.
