I would like FitBit to look at the design of the FitBit Sense 2 charger. I have had 2 chargers fail to charge my FitBit as one of the spring-loaded contacts has failed to make contact with the watch. It becomes stuck in the charger and does not recoil. I believe this is a fundermental design fault. regards PW

Hi @Watto1955  - you are right and a lot of people report this problem, it started with the original Sense/Versa 3 in September 2020 and unfortunately no change was made for the Sense 2/Versa 4.

You can get replacement charge cables under warranty.

However check the following which may help.Tips when using the Sense or Versa 3 charging cable

So I’ve been with Fitbit around 10 years now and have never had any major issues other than having to get a replacement device a few times.

Last few days though, my Sense has been struggling to charge. When I plug it in it says it’s charging slowly and to try charging through another power outlet, which I’ve done, as well as using another plug. Has anyone else had this issue? And if so did you manage to resolve it?

Hi, I had the same problem with slow charging and eventually the charger failed as the pins failed to make contact with the FitBit sense 2. I believe it is a design fault and I complained directly to FitBit and they responded with a replacement charger free of charge. I must their response was swift and positive

I have a pile of chargers where the pins have receded.  Definitely a design flaw, or a perpetual built-in replacement expense.
