Sense 2 clip on setting

I recently got the clip on strap for my sense 2 I see the setting to choose what wrist I wear it on but I don’t see a setting for the clip. If there is no setting where is the best place to wear it.

I believe it's an unofficial third-party strap. Sense 2 isn't designed to be clipped on.

Hi @Apollofit - it may be a case of trial and error to see which gives the most accurate readings if it will give accurate readings, depending on how it is worn.

Oh I thought it would be official seeing they sell it on fitbits website

@Apollofit I may have thought about something else (I thought about a clip holder which I don't know is offered officially by Fitbit). If it's something different then just ignore my previous response.

@Apollofit   I believe you are referring to the clip made by Wasserstein that is available from the Fitbit Store or directly from Wasserstein.  It is a certified Made for Fitbit product.  I don't know if it is available outside the US.

To be clear -- the Sense doesn't have an On Wrist/On Clip mode.  It can't measure your heart rate when you wear it in the clip.

Most users who ask for clips aren't allowed to wear anything below the elbow at work.  I don't know how accurate the step count is when you wear it this way.  I think it depends on the intensity of the activity.  I've worn two different Versa models on my torso while running with a jogging stroller.  I got reliable step counts.  Fitbit recommends the waistband or pocket for devices that have an On Clip setting.

I think certain users need this accessory for a specific need.  I wouldn't recommend it for all users.

A Clip On setting would be very useful to turn of the HR sensor to avoid fake reading and to save battery.

@Dopovo agree but that mostly comes down to a different feature: power profiles when user can decided what should be on or off and under what circumstances. Although, simple toggle to turn HR sensor off in quick settings would probably do. But since we talking now about adding the features ot isn't exactly the direction the company goes.
