Why is there always a time showing between views? I didn’t change settings, and it’s really hard on the battery.

@Rmw7301   It sounds like your Always On Display is turned on.  Please swipe down on your screen to go to the Quick Settings.  The AOD is the bottom left icon.  If it is on, tap on it to turn it off.  The touch screen is very sensitive and it is surprising easy to change the Quick Settings with a long sleeve and a light touch.

The AOD shows a minimal version of your selected clock face, or a simple generic one if your chosen clock face doesn't have an AOD version.  If this answer doesn't help you, can you ask your question a different way, with more details?
