Sense 2 faulty charging?

I've just got a new sense 2, however I have gone to charge it for the first time and it kind of keeps reconnecting and vibrating every 5 seconds asif it's just been put on charge. Its very annoying. Is this normal?

Thank you for providing the details regarding your Sense 2. 

I'm not sure if you are still having difficulties with the smartwatch, however please try to perform a restart as indicated:

Press and hold the button for 10 seconds until  the Fitbit logo appears on the screen, and then release the button.

I have tried this and the problem remains. What do you suggest I do?
