Hi, my sense 2 is not tracking my heart rate or sleep tracking. It seems like it's really only tracking my steps only, since nothing else is showing up in my app since Wednesday.

I've tried restarting it twice, and it's still doing this. Please advise.

Hi there, @chissynana. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Sense 2 is not tracking your sleep nor heart rate data since Wednesday. I appreciate you've taken the time to troubleshoot the issue before reaching out, I'll be glad to continue helping you.

The heart rate is key in order to receive sleep stages, so, let's fix this issue first. If you haven't done so yet, please see What factors can affect my heart-rate on my Fitbit device?

If the above works and your Sense 2 is now tracking your heart rate accurately, please monitor your sleep data. If after a few days you don't receive sleep stages, please Why don't I see sleep stages today?

Hope that helps.

Thank you for your help! In the end, I did an ECG, and that seemed to fix it.

This has been an ongoing issue for me as well, this whole interrupted heart rate tracking and sleep data. I’ve tried all the suggestions each time, and sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t.

I’m done. I gave FitBit more than three strikes. Sad after almost 8 years of being a FitBit premium member. This company clearly, truly, doesn’t care.

I wish you all the best of luck. I’ll be tracking my health with a wearable product named after a fruit.

Shame on you FitBit.

i agree. i like the fruit but the battery life is much better on garmin

100% agree. I’m giving the fruit a try and willing to put up with the decreased battery life. I (like many folks here) really need consistent and reliable heart rate tracking, for various health reasons. If it’s not tracking my heart while I sleep, and I go into AFib, well, ……..

I’ll say it one final time: if this was happening to FitBit’s grandmother, father, spouse, child, etc., would this situation be acceptable?

I have been using various versions of Fitbit for over 10 years. The last one was Sense. Less than one week ago, I upgraded (at least so I thought!!) to Sense 2 and my nightmare began.

My bedtime and waking time are almost fixed. On the Ionic and the Sense, I used to get a sleeping time of between 6.5 to 7 hours and a rating between 75 and 85. On most mornings, depending on my own assessment of my 'quality' of sleep, I could make a reasonable estimate of what the Fitbit would show,

But the Sense 2 readings are completely wonky. In the past three days (when I have slept fairly normally), the length of time that I slept (according to Sense 2) has been around 3.5 hours (with 2 hours 39 minutes being the reading for last night) and the sleep score has average tto below 70.

Obviously, something is very wrong.

Any suggestions/help would be much appreciated.
