I have a Fitbit Sense 2.
For the past six hours or so, Fitbit is showing Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on my Fitbit.
I live in India, which is GMT+ 5 hours and 30 minutes. I went to Settings on my Fitbit app on my iPhone and checked "DATE & TIME". It shows Location: India; Time Zone: Asia/Kolkata. Both of these are as they should be.
I then clicked Time Zone and it said the 'Set Automatically From your phone' option is 'on', And my iPhone shows the correct Indian Standard Time (IST) which is GMT+ 5 hours and 30 minutes.
How do I get the Fitbit to show IST and not GMT.

I'm having the same problem as well. I'm in Erbil, Iraq. I've spent the last two hours uninstalling, reinstalling apps, disconnecting and connecting to Bluetooth, shutting down and starting up my phone, watch and apps. This needs to be fixed!! I am very disappointed with Fitbit!!

I am having the same issue . The click is showing GMT time and I live in Brazil .
I would contact the support on X but Unfortunately the Brazilian government has forbidden Brazilian people to access X ! I have done every procedure shown on the forums about incorrect Tine Zone and no one worked so far ( turned off phone , sense 2 , logged off of my account , changed to other countries, etc )

Same issue as you and its really frustrating as I look at my wrist and it shows GMT time. Strangely when I change the time zone to Australia / Sydney - it picks up the correct time in Australia. Is this an issue for India alone? After having followed all the above steps, my automatic phone location (which has been turned off now) shows United Kingdom even though the Manual setting places it in India.

Same issue on my Sense 2 in Singapore. Its so upsetting that this is a Google product and they have left it unaddressed for millions of loyal fitbit users.

Refer to screen shots above. The watch and phone timezone is incorrect despite multiple attempts to sync and pair the devices. Even the step count is wrong. Please advice! This is extremely frustrating.

Just realized / observed that its getting sync for other time zones like I changed to Europe it got synced, but not getting synced to India / Columbo, I think few times zones are affected, lets report them in a bulk, so that they should push some fixes over the air.

I chatted with the support! I added as a new watch and it didn’t work . So they said that
I see. It seems to be an issue with the system as this is not the first case today. At the moment as you have tried everything the last steps would be a factory reset but i don't wanna do it cause your data would be deleted from your device. So in this case my recommendation is to wait

Same issue. I even did a factory reset which didn't help. After all the many many issues I have faced with my Sense 2, I eventually found solace in the knowledge that at least it can accurately tell the time...now even that is gone! 🤣🤣

Same issue. In India, sense 2. Noticed it around the noon. It was showing Paris time. Tried everything thing including a factory reset for the Sense and re pairing. No use. Realized that I am not alone when I came here. Thanks for starting the thread. Hope some updates comes soon.
