Sense 2 measuring distance incorrectly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a Sense 2, my wife has an Apple Watch.  We walk together several times a week and my Sense 2 invariably reports a distance ten to fifteen % more than the Apple Watch.  Today I also tracked our activity with Map my Walk.  MmW and the Apple Watch were within 2% and Sense 2 was 13% higher.  Both the Sense 2 and MmW use GPS for tracking distance.  Any thoughts or suggestions on this conundrum?

Same thing here. My usual walk is 7.8 km and previous watch (Sense) was counting 7.7-7.5 - pretty close. I measured on Google Maps it is 7.8 km. Sense 2 showing 6.9-7.0 km. And at the same time number of steps is much lower than it should be. I CANNOT walk 7.8km and have 5k steps! 1697733353363.JPEG

Hi @Dx2 and @Fitbit19972 It is nice to see you here.

Thank you for checking the distance your Sense 2 has compared to the other devices. Fitbit technology uses a 3-axis accelerometer to count your steps, which will be taken into consideration when calculating distance, different from other devices. Make sure that you wear your device correctly on top of your wrist.
