Sense 2 not tracking distance correctly

I had to get a new Sense 2 in January bc my old one (purchased 8/2020) was needing to be recharged 3x/day. I have been walking & tracking the same route with my dog every day for the last 2 yrs; it is always roughly 4 miles...give or take a few tenths. As soon as I switched to the Sense 2, I noticed it was nowhere near 4 miles, when I finished. So then I used my Samsung app on my phone to double check, thinking maybe my old Sense was off in its distance tracking. NOPE. My phone app clocked me at 4.24 mi. (like my old Sense had been doing) & my new watch said 3.01 mi - with both saying I was somewhere in the 9500s steps range. (I re-measured & updated my stride length in the app when I first noticed this happening with the Sense 2, btw.) Even if the GPS wasn't working, there is no way that 3000 steps ≈ 1 mile...unless I was a toddler. Or a cat. I haven't noticed any problems with the GPS tracking & my old Sense had zero problems in accuracy with distance. Can this be fixed in the Sense 2? Because it is utterly frustrating to see the distance being so incredibly off...and now I question the accuracy of the entire watch, altogether.

Hello, @MayDays, welcome to the community, it's nice to see someone new posting.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the distance tracked on your Sense 2.

I recommend you to double check how you wear your Sense 2, since it impacts the distance tracked when doing an activity. Also, restart your Sense 2 before you start an activity the next time you'll do it.

Everything looks good in our end so it should work properly, let me know how it goes, please.
