Can the Sense 2 display be read in bright sunlight without making adjustments on the watchface?

Hi @PRUSS - it doesn't have the brightest of displays even on maximum but does automatically adjust so you don't need to manually adjust.
Other factors such as auto darkening or Polarised glasses may also make the watch harder to see but this will be the same for any watch.
Also choosing a clock face with a good contrast and larger characters can make it easier to see in sunlight as will moving it out of direct sunlight.

@PRUSS Overall, I didn't have much problem with visibility in the bright sunlight (and I'm talking very bright like the open sky in the Philippines). Some screens are poorly designed and they may provide slightly worse visibility, and as @Guy_ mentioned, using polarised sunglasses will make it pretty much invisible (btw @Guy_ , this is another reason why I prefer transflective displays over AMOLED as I can see the screen perfectly clear even wearing my polarised sunglasses and very bright sunlight makes it even better visible).
You will find an issue when using Always-On Display if you'd need that feature. In the bright sunlight (not even super bright, just not too cloudy day) the AoD is almost invisible.
Overall, it's not bad and you won't find many many complaints (unlike old Charge 4) about visibility in the sunlight (if so, then probably mostly related to AoD mode).
