Sense 2 screen issues

My Fitbit Sense 2 display (face) does not show any notifications, text messages received or calls. When I twist my wrist the display is not activated - I have to either tap the screen a few times or hit the button on left side of the watch to see the display for my notifications.
Please tell me what I can or should do to get this issue fixed?

Sounds like you could have 'Do no disturb' or Sleep mode' turned on. Swipe down from main clock face to Quick Settings to check these.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thank you so much Johnny, I think that fixed it - I am now able to see who's calling and notifications.
