Sense 2 stopped won't hold charge

For the past week my sense 2 stops syncing at 49% battery. Loses sync capability. I did the recharge, unistalled/installed fitbit app and the watch itself.

Seems this is somewhat a common issue. Is this a defect? Do we get a replacement?

Yes I have done those things.

My fitbit charges but then stops syncing once it hits 49% then shuts off. All I get when I press button is a little vibrate. Then nothing.
