Sense 2 water proof

This is getting ridiculous, I keep buying the Sense for working out and swimming.  I am always nervous when entering the water and of course I get one round of swimming complete but if I try again at a later day the watch dies. After it was dry I tried connecting the power cord, allni heard was some crackling and sparks. I unplugged it and knew I need a new watch. My whole family has fitbit watches and I don't want to leave but why should I stay?

Hi @Elizzo - you can get your watch replaced during the initial warranty if it gets water in it, but means you have to be prepared to be without a watch during the replacement process.

You did the right thing to remove it from the charger as the watch can get hot and is dangerous once it stops from water damage.

After my Versa died of water damage I decided to never get my Sense wet, it's 3 and a half years old and still doing fine.

same thing happened to me, swam with it once and totally broken. Fitbit are abusing advertising standards and it goes against our consumer rights. we purchased a waterproof watch and have been misled.

they keep deleting my comments so the funny thing is they know i’m right and them getting rid of the things i say just proves it!!!

i wouldn’t bother giving your money to them again, they’ll only continue to break on you and they make more money as you keep replacing it.

top tip fitbit? don’t have a swim option for exercise and sell it as waterproof if you can’t deliver
