It says USB malfunction…device not recognized

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @EagleRiverHome. I'm sorry to hear that your Sense 2 won't charge. 

Where do you find the USB malfunction message? Have you followed the instructions of: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging??

Thanks for getting back to us and for the clarification @EagleRiverHome.

Your computer will not recognize the USB because your Fitbit is not meant to work that way. Please follow the instructions from the help article I shared with you and let me know if your device is still not charging.
