I have Tested this theory, I charge the Sense 2 to 100% overnight - go for a walk with Exercise Mode - and quickly through the walk the watch turns off. I am not able to consistently track my steps with the watch turning off randomly.

Please, make sure to follow all the steps listed in this help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
