Sleep Tracking Not Working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Have read all the things to do, none of them work.  Why should I have to remember to turn off my blue tooth to get sleep tracking to work when I never had to do that before.  The last night I got tracking was 4/29/24.  I want my money back is this isn’t going to work.  Total BS.  Used Fitbit products for as long as they have been around and this is big disappointment and waste of effing money.

Hi @DanCJr - if turning off the Bluetooth works to get sleep measurements this confirms a fault with the Fitbit App version you are using.

Did you also try holding the watch button for 10 seconds till it blanks or vibrates and wait for the logo to appear and for it to start.

And also removing the Bluetooth entries for the watch from the phone and logout of the Fitbit App, swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it before restarting the the phone.

Then login to the Fitbit App and if it doesn't automatically recreate the Bluetooth entries run the setup (Add more devices) select your watch and replace.

This may help improve the syncing which could interfere with the sleep detection (and possibly battery life).

I tried the turning off the Bluetooth and logging out of Fitbit and none of that worked. I did a support chat with Fitbit and did a factory reset of my device AND changed my sleep sensitivity setting to sensitive and it did the trick. I felt like I had tried everything but glad I’ve gotten two consecutive nights of data and a sleep score after nearly 2 weeks of nothing.
