Those 4 little prongs fail to keep their integrity very quickly. The Sense 1 charging procedure was significantly superior. Makes me hate the whole **ahem** thing. I've used Fitbits for many years, but maybe it's time to try another brand.

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @patcballard0749!
Sad to hear about your impression about the charging adapter of your Sense 2. If your device won't charge, I'd suggest having a closer look here:
Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

The Sense 2 charges just fine--after I get another new charger whose prongs don't retract.

Not sure what you mean since Sense 1 and Sense 2 have the same charging system. The cable you used on Sense 1 can be used on Sense 2 and vice versa.

Sorry-- it's the four-pronged cable I have issues with. My previous Fitbits (from 2014) had more secure connections or were wireless charging capable. At least one of the four prongs on the Sense chargers always drops down and prevents a good connection. Don't know why the prongs aren't stationary and can retract.
