Did you mean:

Too many things wrong with my Fitbit to search each topic

Stair climb not registering on dashboard.

Sleep statistics not showing on dashboard.
Activity not registering on dashboard.
Automatic walk doesn’t start until I’m about 6-8 minutes already into my walk.
I might as well get a pedometer since steps is about all my sense 2 is recording as of late. I’ve had a Fitbit since 2015 and have always had good things to say about it. Lately maybe past 2 years, I’ve had so many issues and I’m getting tired of having to search my issues and then try whatever someone else is recommending. It’s such a process. I never hear people complaining about Apple Watches. Fitbit was doing this before apple, why aren’t you better at it? I’m so frustrated. I don’t want an Apple Watch but you’re almost forcing me to buy one

Hi @JWald - much of the problems are probably app based, and even phone based.

When Google bought Fitbit they made a new version of the Fitbit app, around September 2023, which has been plagued with issues and lost and not working features ever since. The worst being poor syncing.

Unless the watch and app sync properly many things will be not working.

Sleep in particular (if you met the requirements for recording it) is a complicated process as the data has to come from the watch to the app, get sent from the app to the servers, get calculated and returned to the app and then to the watch.

Even if the app display is faulty you may get some details on the tile on the watch, have you checked there later in the day, as it takes time and multiple syncs sometimes.

Swipe the watch face to the left and consult the information shown there to see how well the watch is doing, compared to the app.

For reference Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
