Unable to find Stride Length settings for Sense 2

Just got the sense 2 for Christmas. First disappointed that any arm movement causes steps to rise. Then I set it up through Gmail and it appears that when you do that you don't have an account information to go to so I cannot adjust my stride anywhere. There is no advanced settings there is no nothing I have been through every screen. Website they say to go to help before you return doesn't work. Very disappointed

Welcome to the community, @pampoohbear145.

Thanks for letting us know about your Sense 2. I understand your frustration and let's work on this together. Based on what you mentioned, I believe you've migrated your account to Google. If that's correct, please follow these other steps:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap the Exercise tile.
  2. Tap the three dots at the top right corner.
  3. Then tap on Activity settings > Stride Length and adjust this value.

Now, regarding your other question, our Fitbit devices used an accelerometer to count your steps based on your hand movements. However, when doing certain activities that require you to use your hands a lot, your watch might try to give you credit and misinterpret them as steps. What I'd recommend is adjusting your band on your wrist so it's not too loose or tight, and restarting your watch to refresh its performance.
