I’ve had the same issue since the app was updated a few months ago. Reported it to customer service over 3 weeks ago. Sent them screenshots per their request. I was told they’d get back to me. Haven’t heard from them since, and it’s still a problem. I’m looking at a Samsung watch to replace the Fitbit Sense. Been a Fitbit customer since 2011, and since they merged or are in cooperation with google, there’s been nothing but issues.

Well this isnt good. Ive bought myself one, my husband and my two boys sense2 for christmas and mines been playing up ever since! It kept bugging out, so today i reset it, and did the whole restart phone and bluetooth pair etc, nothing works. just says its unable to update lmao wtf

Customer service wouldnt help me, they forwarded me to an australian support team that arent replying hahaha nice! only cost me an arm and a leg!

I am throwing this away.  Tired of their updates screwing everything up

Same I can’t find anything and I can’t connect other then keeping track of my steps and sleep it is worthless. Might as well get an Apple Watch and load Fitbit app.

I have found the best way to re-sync is to go into phone settings ----> recent apps and force stop of Fitbit. Then stop and start bluetooth, then relaunch the Fitbit app. This works 90% of the time. Sometimes I have to reboot the Fitbit as well. This approach is way faster than having to restart phone of reload app.

I'm having all the same issues as you. Has yours been resolved at all?

Best Answer
No it has not been resolved and no one has contacted me about the ticket
that was opened for the issue. I am returning the Fitbit.

I'm in the same boat.  My original Sense (not Sense 2) started malfunctioning after 2 years, so I bought a Sense 2.  It kept losing Bluetooth connection so I complained and went through the whole troubleshooting process with a customer service agent, and it couldn't be fixed so they sent me a new (refurbished) device.  It started doing the same thing after just a few weeks.  I just tried to get a refund as I am done with this poor-quality device.  I was told I can't get a refund as it goes from the original purchase date (45 days after) not when they sent me the new device, so even if I go through the troubleshooting on this new refurbished device and it doesn't work all I qualify for is another refurbished device.

I have been with fitbit for over 7 years and was very happy until the last year.  I believe their quality has severely declined and I no longer trust their product or their customer service.  Guess I am switching to an Apple Watch now.  I will no longer be a Fitbit enthusiast. BUYER BEWARE!!

We can do that? same! And I believe they “ try” to solve the problem until 45 days are out…. Shame on them!

I’m in exactly the same position. It wasn’t syncing properly - have been reporting for weeks. Was told I had to do a factory reset for warranty purposes. Did that and now I’ve got a device that is stuck at that exact same place. Pairs with Bluetooth as in gives me a code etc but then says ‘trying to connect….’ I’ve reinstalled, uninstalled, restarted, you name it, but nothing works and they basically give up at customer service. I’ve had this less than 2 months and it’s been awful compared to my old Fitbit. So disappointed. The force. Stop start / recent apps is that android or iPhone? Good luck everyone.

I have I Phone. I have text messages, but it will not connect to calls. For me that is ok because I don't use my watch for phone calls. But it does get frustrating having to reconnect all the time.

I have successfully argued for a refund. I will not return to Fitbit after this experience. I’ve had the device 49 days and had requested a refund in December. Had lost the chat and so didn’t have details to return it. The performance of the tracker improved so I left it. But now this. So now I’m sending it for a refund. It’s a massive shame as I quite liked the watch and I have no idea what to buy instead. Worst of all, I have no watch or tracker.

It seems I have to turn Bluetooth off and on. Sometimes multiple times

I’m sending mine back while a refund is still an option. So disappointing but I’m reluctantly looking at Polar/Garmin/Apple instead

just decided to return it! Fitbit is not for iOS anymore 😞 just android!

yep! I was on the same road! I decided to returned it before 45 days policy expired! I followed all the steps I was told and nothing!
the “ higher” developer team supposed to contact me and nothing! I gave up and returned it! Is a shame what Google are doing to Fitbit users!

Same happened with me!
