Hi everyone,
do we know if the bugs have been sorted for the new update? It arrived on 25th July for me so naturally updated. It all went wrong and my energy marks weren't registering. Activity wasn't tracking properly. GPS wasn't tracking properly. Big red cross appeared when I turned off and on again and so the list goes on.
I clicked reset factory and it set it back to before the new update and it worked perfectly.
The update has now reappeared. Now I am not prepared to update if its not sorted. Especially when this issue (it would appear) has been going on since May! I am UK

Best AnswerStill no update notification for me (also UK) and I'm not sure we know anyone yet who has tried applying it again after having issues the first time. I still think the rollout is paused due to the number of problems reported.
I'd stick with 194.86 if I was you until a moderator finally decides to go public on here and tell us the update is fixed.
Best AnswerYeah I agree. I am sticking with it for now. My biggest problem now is my gps is doing its own thing on walking. Getting really fed up now. Makes me want to look elsewhere for a different smart watch!!
Best AnswerI have updated mine and it completely destroyed my fitbit, thankfully I still had warranty on it and they sent me a refurbished replacement, so far I do not have the newest update on the replacement fitbit.
Thank you for your reply, so sorry it totally destroyed yours. Mine still isn't right. But it is sort of working.
Hopefully something should change after the 13th, google is going to have their event and I hope by then they will get things right.

Best AnswerI know that you were not asking me, but I did get a replacement fitbit sense 2 because my first one was ruined by the update and a week later I updated the replacement fitbit and it works fine.
Austria here - updated yesterday and now display only shows ‚sync from the mobile fitbit app‘. it syncs but same message on display .. helpdesk sent a how to restart but nothing works .. wish i never installed it …
No heard nothing and no one has replied to this from fitbit/google I haven't dared to redownload it as it's still not fully right now. The update is still sitting there, I am ignoring it.

@Meiggi - that's rubbish! It did seem that the update is bricking more devices than it is successful on ... sorry to hear that you've now got a useless Sense2 ... here's hoping someone at fitbit support sees yor plea for help!

It's such a shame the first experience on the update has left you so precautious but I fully understand ... we need to see more success messages (and more UK users too!!) before applying it. As I've said before I'm still waiting to even see notification that I can download it!!
