You must purchase a brand-new watch entirely because, given the cost of these watches, there should be more than just a one-year full replacement. This is due to the wristband being loose and prone to breaking in a short time when worn to bed and throughout the day while moving around your desk or kitchen. Additionally, the second loop that the lip goes into gets torn, and there's only a one-year full warranty. As a premium member, a perk of a three to five-year warranty or a redesign of the watches where the wristband can be replaced would be beneficial. My wristband, at least, broke just over six months past the one-year warranty. I rely heavily on my Fitbit watch for everything, and losing it is unbearable, plus I have no one to turn to for borrowing money for a new watch.
