treadmill intervals time vs distance

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My run on a treadmill logs just fine but I vividly remember being able to adjust which interval and how often I wanted my device/watch to notify me. You could use time and have it vibrate every 5, 10, 15 minutes, etc. Or you could use distance and have it vibrate every .25, .5, 1 mile. Since this Google change, I'm struggling to find the various settings. Does this still exist or am I just not digging deep enough? I've tried both the app and the website.

Hello @Anjelicsounds and welcome to the Community.  You can set this with the Laps option in the settings in the exercise shortcut.  I never used this feature on a treadmill, but the Treadmill shortcut only does time and calories.

For that, you can use the Run exercise with GPS off. There is no interval support for the Run activity but you can kind of get very basic time/distance notifications using lap settings (change lap type between time/distance and select the interval that auto-lap will notify you). You won't be able to mix duration an distance intervals.
