Add Indoor Rowing to Excercise list

Why is indoor rowing not on the fitbit sense excercise list, I read a while ago that fitbit was liaising with Concept 2. Some of us hate running and choose optional exercising. Is it possible to add indoor rowing to my fitbit sense excercise list. I row 5 000 m daily.

Indoor rowing is not an option because the developers have not added it.

You may want to add your vote to the request.

I row 25km weekly too so that would be nice to see on the list, but right now, my Sense heart rate monitor is not very accurate compared to my chest strap HRM...my Sense heart rate is way off so I don't think the calories expended would be accurate anyway. Right now, I'm just logging my row session as 'Workout', and then manually changing it to 'Rowing'.

Love fitbit blaze, but not going to wait for fitbit to fix

Latest Applewatch also won't klon and is generally AWFUL. Lots of unneeded clutter and need additional apps to see workout hear rates of sleep detials. Jobs must be truning in his grave for horrible fussy interfaces for iphone as well

I really cannot believe these fitness businesses have an obsession with running - it is so bad for your joints  rowing is far better, at least every muscle get excercised. Why can't Fitbit just add every possible excercise on dashboard with a drop down to change. I would love to see battle ropes on the list too. Why can't there be an option to customise your dashboard add and delete exercises.

There is a way to recategorize it if you use the "Workout" option.  I am on iOS and started a "Workout" from my Sense.  Then, when I finished the workout, I went into the app and edited the exercise and renamed it to "Rowing".  I'm not sure if you're on Android what the steps are, but this is how to do it on iOS:

i have been recording with wahoo strap and fitbit blaze for over 1 year.

They are different in detail, think this is partly because running average is over different time

BUT pattern is similar and so are total calories

Hi

I am changing my workout like that, but Fitbit has limited excercise
options, try to change it to Battle Ropes, or something out of the
ordinary it keeps prompting to use exercises from the fitbit list which is
so limited.

I honestly think fitbit can do this adjustment. I work for developers and
they told me if the person who developed this app really wants to help all
the fitbit customers he/she can easily do the adjustment and accompany all
ki d of excercise options available.

@Magda_Visser Battle ropes is pretty specific and kind of a niche workout, in my opinion.  You can do as @Rich_Laue suggested in his post and request it to be added in the Feature Suggestions board.

Truly, it doesn't matter what the workout out is named as it bases your calories burned off of your heart rate and body stats (height, weight, age, sex) not the exercise type.

@Magda_Visser. each type of exercise needs to be monitored, then programmed into the watch, and then tested.
