Can you use Alexa to ask the watch to tell you your current heart rate?  And can I set the watch so that I can voice a command to Alexa without having to push in the button on the left side of the watch?

I believe that's a no on both. The assistant whether Google or Alexa is only capable of the usual assistant commands and nothing specific to the Sense. There's no option for hot word. Even though the Sense has a good battery, that would just add to the battery drain.
