You should be able to quick respond from a iOS iPhone on the newer Fitbits and they should make an update to do it as it is easier and helps with safety as well. Also there should be a message app so u can text people from your Fitbit with iPhones and android phones it would be better bc if you don’t have your phone in the same room.

Hello @6643ab and welcome to the Community. Unfortunately, this is an Apple limitation, not a lack of desire on the Fitbit side of things.

Sense 2, Luxe, Aria 2 | iOS | Mac OS
Take a look at the Fitbit help site for further assistance and information.

Basically, as @LZeeW States, Apple, does not play nice with others and will not let any third party respond to email and texts.
You should be able to respond to none apple apps like Twitter, Facebook, etc

Just found out as of the latest IOS on the iPhone restricts the fitbit SENSE from replying to text messages. I just bought this watch 3 weeks ago and the website still shows the ability to receive and reply to text and other messages from the SENSE. Went to the Fitbit website found the Specs for the SENSE and it's right there. Probably already knew this when they sold me the watch. I'm kinda pissed.

@fxxk It clearly says "...plus Android users can send quick replies and voice replies". Nothing hidden about it

He said he has an iPhone. I also have an iPhone and never expected to not be able to use “Quick replies” because of Apple’s ridiculous limitation so I’m a bit upset about it as well. Fitbit needed to disclose that limitation in large print all over the place.

Welcome on board, @KimLightner.
Thanks for joining this thread and sharing your thoughts about this feature. As our friends mentioned, the quick replies feature is available for devices that are paired with Android phones. This information is described in our website, help site, as well as our User Manual.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience this has caused and appreciate your feedback. We'll keep working to improve our devices and make Fitbit more useful for you.
