My Sense needs charging every other day! I use none of the extra Apps installed - never use Spotify, Alarms, Weather, Timer, Voice Assist, Wallet etc. It’s not even a year old and has never held the charge for over 4 days even from new! I only use it to count steps, Heart Rate and Sleep. This is the 3rd Fitbit I have owned and I might not bother replacing it as none has ever kept a charge for more than a few days. I think they have been designed to fail and need replacing.

Hi @DLGJ - sometimes it can be a phone issue with syncing. You can test this with the phone Bluetooth turned [except when you need to sync] and see if it lasts longer.
Also note that things like SpO2 and snore detection can use upto 4 days battery alone. For more see How to resolve the Major issues causing short battery life.
However also try the following
Logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.
Make sure there are no other devices running the Fitbit App switched on.
Restart the watch by holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.
Login and wait for any pair, link or Fixit prompts and sync.

Thanks. I have disabled snore and SpO2, though SpO2 still seems to be running on the actual watch! Why give us a whole raft of Apps on the Fitbit if you need to disable them to keep a battery charge? It’s like having hearing aids, with the batteries removed, to lengthen the battery life! Pointless!

Just reached a new ‘low’ today! Charged my Fitbit this morning to 98%, put it on about 11.30am and by 3pm it was down to 30%!
I agree. But mine has stopped charging completely. It’s just over a year old and had nothing but problems. I’m using an apple phone and thinking it’s time to go to Apple Watch as I’ve had 3 fitbit watches and only my first 1 was perfect (until I accidentally drowned it in the sea lol) will be sad of the divorce from Fitbit family. But think it’s time to move on.
Best AnswerI started having a similar issue yesterday.
My charge was holding 6 days just fine, but suddenly, out of nothing, it dropped to less than 12 hours.
No changes on settings, app or my android phone.
I've had the original Sense for about 15 months.
Hope somebody can get a fix for this issue which is very annoying.

Hi @Muski77 - your symptoms seem to indicate water damage inside or some other hardware fault, though try syncing and doing a shutdown from the watch Settings menu.
@Petpal102 - just in case did you see this link How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen though the watch may also have suffered internal damage if you have to charge every 2 days but also check the link posted earlier as it may be a setting.

Hi
I don’t swim, so it’s never been under water. I always take it off when I shower. I wear long rubber gloves when working with water. I therefore cannot imagine how ANY water might have got into it, so it’ s NOT water damage.
Thanks for the suggestions though.

The most mine has held a charge from day1 was 4 days!

Thanks for the answer @Guy_.It synced successfully but everything else I tried nothing worked. I tried disconnecting from my phone, factory reset and nothing worked. Even after factory reset, on it screen displayed on the watch asking for you to sync with your smartphone the battery was draining as fast as it did when I was using it normally the day before. What I think is awkward in this situation, is that on the day before the battery was on its 6-day normal course and on the day after a charge won't last 10 hours.
