My sence won't turn on, charge or sync.
This happened after an update and now Fitbit won't replace or repair my device, all they said always because it was out of warranty they will offer me 35% discount off a new device.
I think this is despicable, I now have a £300 paper weight and reading all the comments on the community page I'm not the only one that's having the problem.

Welcome to the community, @Bradders72.
Thanks for informing me about this situation in regards to the battery of your Sense.
I was able to confirm you contacted support and they were able to provide you with a solution, if you have any other questions or concerns, my best recommendation would be to contact them.

There is no point contacting support again. I've done everything they asked me to do to correct the issue with my sence, it's still not working, I'm £300 pound out of pocket and all Fitbit support could offer me is a 35% discount on a new device.
Reading the posts on this forum there is clearly a problem with the sence or the update they done but all they want is my money. Sorry this bank is closed.

Hi @Bradders72 - on the off chance it isn't actually a watch problem see How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen

A friend of mine literally told me the day before my Fitbit stopped charging that her's wasn't working. She was on the phone with customer service and after trying everything to reset it they gave her a discount code to order a new one. It is interesting that some people on this thread are talking about the software update, Seeing how there are so may people with this issue and now I am having the same issue, I wonder if this is a money grab by Fitbit to boost revenue. Seems very shady to me. If I cannot get my Fitbit to work with a new charging cable from Best Buy, I might make the switch to an Apple Watch and the only reason I liked Fitbit was they were the anti-apple.

There have not been any Sense firmare updates in over a year. There have been Fitbit app updates, but those are for our phones not our watches. There have been no Sense updates.

No your right there hasn't been any firmware updates but there has been an app update. I'm not saying that's the issue, what my problem is is that there are a lot of sence Fitbit become a brick/ paper weight/ useless and Fitbit are not recognising that there is a problem with them. Maybe it is a way for them to make money... Who knows?! We all know that there not cheep to buy and only having my 18 months and its not use to man or beast looks like a money making scheme. I got offered a 35% discount. I feel that this is not good enough, just look at how many sence are having the same problem...

I agree that it is very sad that so many Sense watches are failing at around the 18 month mark. That is a serious bummer. Mine is about a year old, so we shall see how long it lasts. People keep posting that an update is bricking watches, all I have been saying is there have been no updates pushed to the Sense watches in a long time. I have no idea why so many are failing around the same time though.

Do we really know what they push through to our devices?! Just saying... I have done everything I can to get my sence working again, it's just stuck on the boot up logo ( well it was until the battery died) now when I put it on charge the logo Coles up it vibrates then dies again. I have left it connected to the charger for a week. Just goes through the same cycle. (Just like so many others are posting about)

Have you tried this:
Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. When the Fitbit logo disappears: Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.

Tha annoying thing is I had the Ionic before the sence. The ionic got recalled... That's still sitting in my draw and I bet if I charge it it will still work. It was 1 of the best fitbits I've owned but I can't use it because the battery was faulty, so long and short of it I have 2 fitbits that and paper weights

My sense 2 is draining battery almost immediately after being fully charged. It all started when the app prompted me to update my fitbit firmware. It's now useless and I've spent hundreds of dollars on fitbit devices and they all go down the toilet. Premium I paid for is a joke as well since almost none of the special options even work.

I am facing same issue. No service center in India. and product has just crossed one year. This is really frustrating. I spent so much money on this product and now it is dead.

I had the same issue. Went through all the videos cleaned the watch with solvent but didn't work. I then took a magnifying glass to to look at the back of the watch and it noticed that the contact points looked a little corroded so I took a tiny screwdriver and gently scraped the contact points and BINGO! Problem solved. Charger connects instantly now with no further trouble. Simple as that. Hope it works for others.

This is also happening to my Sense. Why would Fitbit nit research this as a failure on their part!!!

Hi
A Fitbit support via chat had me choose a different clock face and my sense started charging
Hope this works for you and other users.

Just to clarify that you change the clock face in the app
