Bitmoji clock face not connecting with Snapchat.

tried to uninstall and reinstall bitmoji, Snapchat and Fitbit and Snapchat & bitmoji are connected but when I go to ‘connect’ on the clock settings it takes me to Snapchat, I approve, back to Fitbit then still shows up ‘connect’ as if it’s never attempted to connect at all and on watch tells me to go to settings.

Hi there, @Bexmid. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that you are still having difficulties connecting Bitmoji to Snapchat. I will do my best to help you with this!

After you connect your accounts, your watch downloads a variety of Bitmoji stickers. Keep your phone close to your watch during this process, and make sure the Fitbit app continues to run in the background. If the Snapchat Connection status is stuck at 0%, or you see a message instructing you to make sure your Bitmoji is linked to Snapchat, link your Bitmoji and Snapchat accounts using the instructions in Bitmoji’s help article.

If you change your Bitmoji avatar’s appearance or outfit, update your clock face by tapping Sync Bitmoji in the clock face settings. Your watch downloads a new set of stickers.

For more information about the Bitmoji clock face, see our blog post Bitmoji and Fitbit Clock Face Partnership.

Hi,

i think that’s the issue it isn’t even getting to the point of a percentage of downloads. It is almost stuck on ‘connect’. Where it says bitmoji and Snapchat then it has ‘connect’ when I click this it doesn’t make any changes. It sends me to the Snapchat page and asks me to authorise permission for username and bitmoji which I proceed with then that takes me back to the Fitbit app and it still shows ‘connect’ with no progress and if I click it again it does the same response prompt.

I’ve tried the bitmoji help article also with no success

thanks

Hi

w

Were you able to solve the issue? I have the exact same problems.
Connection between Snapchat and Sense does not work.
In the Snapchat App it says connected to Fitbit but in my Fitbit App it still says „connect“.

Thank you.

I am getting the same thing. It keeps going in a circle.

The issue is that the accounts aren't connecting. You:

  • Hit "connect"
  • Get taken to a page where you agree to connect
  • Get taken back to the Fitbit app where it says "connect"
  • Hit "connect"
  • Ad infinitum

It's just not working.

If it helps, it's going to a developer URL followed by a lot of code. Apparently not allowed to post it.

I just got the sense and it is doing the same thing to me. My husband has the sence since a few years and it works fine. Did anyone ever find out the problem of why it is still trying to get permission?

It worked on my older Sense although I haven't queued it up in a while on that one (the glass broke). Can't use on new one. I don't think it's going to work until it's fixed on the Fitbit end — that's what I get from "developer" in the URL when it redirects.

Thanks for getting back to me about it, I’ve tried everything. I guess we will just have to wait until Fitbit resolves this issue.

I have had the exact same issue since April and have raised it with Fitbit / Google support a couple of times.  All they do is say they're elevating it to someone and then nothing happens.  It's clearly a connection issue between Fitbit and Snapchat which could probably be easily fixed if someone looked into it.  Google have really ruined Fitbit IMO!
